Click & Collect in store is a new programme enabling selling partners with a physical store to make their products available the same day to nearby customers. With this programme, you will have the opportunity to reach new customers, increase in-store traffic and strengthen your presence among local customers.
In short, you will be able to combine the visibility provided by Amazon with the unique experience that you offer in store, while being in control of your product selection and your image. Finally, no additional fees will be required to set up this feature.

What is Click & Collect in store?
Click & Collect in store is a new delivery option that gives you the opportunity to reach new customers, strengthen your presence among local customers and increase in-store traffic by listing a selection of items in your Amazon store that can be collected directly from your store. As soon as an Amazon customer purchases a Click & Collect item, you will receive a notification via Seller Central or API, depending on the chosen configuration, alerting your employees to prepare the product as soon as possible to create a positive in-store collection experience for the customer.
What happens after customers place a Click & Collect in store order, and how will they know it's ready for collection?
After placing a Click & Collect in store order, customers will receive a confirmation email with standard order information and store-specific information including location, business hours and an estimated time that the product will be ready for collection. Once the store confirms that the order is ready for collection, customers will be notified via email. When they arrive at the collection point, all they have to do is ask the employees for their order, collect it and leave.
Customers can check the status of their order, find store information, delivery guidelines and view the pick-up code in the “Your Orders” section of their Amazon app at any time. We will make every effort to make the order available as quickly as possible but we know that customers are not necessarily available to collect them immediately. That is why we allow at least five days to collect the product from the time it is marked as available.

Which sellers are eligible to participate in Click & Collect in store?

I use an integrator to manage my e-commerce business. Will I be able to participate in the Amazon Click & Collect in store programme?
Yes. Selling partners can enable the Click & Collect in store fulfilment feature if they use a third-party integrator. The APIs created for Amazon Click & Collect in store are an extension of existing APIs and are easily accessible to integrators to automate data exchange with Amazon. However, selling partners will need to commit to meeting performance guidelines to participate and remain eligible for the programme (e.g. number of items ready for collection, rate of cancellations initiated by the seller, store delivery cancellation rate). Do I need complex technology to participate in the Click & Collect in store programme?
No. There are two ways to participate in the programme: either through direct API integration or via third-party integrators like ChannelAdvisor and Sellercloud (additional integrators will be added in 2022). These APIs allow you to manage store configuration, inventories and order status updates (ready to be collected/already collected). In the future, you will be able to manage your entire in-store experience through Seller Central on any computer, including using the 1x1 interface or bulk feeds. If the direct API integration doesn't meet your needs and you don't want to wait for Click & Collect in store to be enabled in Seller Central, you can choose the ChannelAdvisor or Sellercloud web portal to manage your Click & Collect in store business.
