Frequently Asked Questions

How do I sell in Europe, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East and North Africa?
Find out how to sell in a region or country outside Europe by visiting the following websites:
How much does it cost to sell worldwide from Europe?
Selling costs on Amazon vary by store and product. They may also depend on the tools, programmes and services that you select.

Selling plan fees
Professional sales packages are subject to separate fees for regional accounts in America and Europe and for country-specific accounts in Asia-Pacific, the Middle East and North Africa. However, if you link international Amazon selling accounts, your monthly fees will be either the equivalent of $39.99 per month or the sum of the selling plan fees for each region and country where you have active listings, whichever is lower.

Recommendation fees
Recommendation fees vary by product category. For each item sold, you will pay a percentage of the total price or a minimum amount, whichever is higher.

Check out the recommendation fees for each Amazon storefront:
Optional service costs
In addition to referral fees, you may incur additional costs if you use some optional tools and programmes, such as Fulfilled by Amazon (FBA) or Amazon Ads. Ultimately, you can control the cost of selling in the Amazon storefront by selecting the programmes, tools and services that are right for your business.
Can I sell the same products in all countries?
Product requirements vary from country to country. Review the specific compliance, security and product listing requirements for each country where you plan to sell. Use our compliance reference tool to browse product requirements and watch our internationally expanding Essentials for Amazon Selling Partners video for more details.

How does customs work when I expand internationally?
When you expand your business to an Amazon storefront outside your home country and place orders with Fulfilment by Amazon (FBA) or a third-party fulfilment provider, you need to understand your obligations in the import and export process. Although you may want to handle some or all of these import and export steps yourself, it may be easier to hire a logistics provider, such as a customs broker or freight forwarder to handle the process for you. These providers may have the expertise and time to make sure that your inventory moves from one location to another quickly and securely.

You can also use services like Amazon Global Logistics, which offers door-to-door ocean freight transport and includes customs assistance.

Can I sell my brand outside my original store?

If your brand is enrolled in the Amazon Brand Registry, you can transfer your brand rights to your destination storefront and sell with your own brand.

Learn how to transfer your brand to your destination storefront.
Do I need a new business or legal entity to sell with Amazon in a new country?
If you operate outside your destination storefront, you may not have to create a new entity to sell your products there. However, depending on the specifics of your business and your sales strategy, it may be beneficial to do so.
Are the product reviews that I posted in my personal storefront reflected in Amazon storefronts around the world?
Yes, but only at first. If there is no customer review for a product in your destination store, recent reviews from your original store will be displayed. These imported reviews remain visible until the product starts receiving local reviews. When you use the Build International Listings tool to list products in Amazon storefronts around the world, customer reviews appear on the product detail page but not on the search results page or top seller rankings.
