It's cost-effective

Pay as you go: You are charged for the storage space used and the orders we fulfil. Shipping rates are included in your fees, with no extra charges or costs for Amazon Prime Free One-Day Delivery, or for FREE delivery on eligible orders*. Fees for Selling on Amazon and optional services may apply.

Standard costs

Storage fees

Charged for all items stored in an Amazon fulfilment centre, and based on daily average volume of inventory measured in cubic feet. See how to determine the product size category for your items.

Fulfilment fees

Charged per unit for picking and packing your orders, shipping and handling, customer service, and product returns. Use the FBA Revenue Calculator to get an estimate and overview of fees.

Occasional fees

Long-term storage fees

Assessed monthly for all items stored in a fulfilment centre for longer than 331 days. Managing your inventory well can help you avoid long-term storage fees.

Removal order fees

You can have Amazon return or dispose of your inventory in a fulfilment centre for a per-item fee.

Return processing fees

Charged on orders when Amazon provides a customer with free return shipping.

Unplanned services fees

Charged when inventory arrives at a fulfilment centre without proper preparation or labelling, making unplanned services required.

Get started with FBA

Fulfilment by Amazon can help eliminate your fulfilment headaches and help you grow your business.

Step 1

Set up FBA
Create your Amazon selling partner account and log in to Seller Central to set up FBA.

Step 2

Create your product listings
Once you have added your products to the Amazon catalogue, mark them as FBA listings.

Step 3

Prepare your products
Prepare your products to ensure safe and secure transportation to a fulfilment centre, in accordance with Amazon packing guidelines and shipping and routing requirements.

Step 4

Send your products to Amazon
Create your shipping plan, print Amazon shipment ID labels, and send your shipments to Amazon fulfilment centres. Learn more about sending inventory to an Amazon fulfilment centre.

VAT made easy

Use the tools in your selling partner account to list products, create shipping plans, send products, track and monitor your shipments and routing, and remove inventory from Amazon fulfilment centres.

Inventory sales dashboard

Your inventory sales dashboard displays your Inventory Performance Index (IPI) score, along with key influencing factors. Be sure to check your IPI score regularly as a low score could lead to overrun fees on your inventory and limit your ability to send more inventory.

Manage excess inventory

Optimise your inventory levels by knowing when to mark down or remove your products. Monitor detailed information about storage fees, opportunities to drive sales, and suggestions to help improve returns on your inventory.

Track inventory circulation

Improve sell-through rates and avoid long-term storage fees. Use inventory circulation tools to understand how much inventory you’re holding and how long it’s been in fulfilment centres.

Sort out inventory without active listings

Keep your listings active by including necessary pricing and condition information and resolving errors. If your inventory is in fulfilment centres without an associated active listing, it’s not available for purchase.

Replenish inventory

Keep your best-selling inventory in stock with personalised replenishment recommendations. You can also make adjustments for future promotions and seasonal demand patterns. Track your inventory and supplier orders so that you’re prepared to meet product demand.
